What is the difference between the ionic bond and the intermolecular force ionic bond and how come there is some elements that are sharing electrons that are not both NM as they're supposed to be. As an example: NaCl

What is the network covalent bond, how can we differentiate between the ionic one and this one? As in the intermolecular forces.

Are all molecules NM? as they have the polar and non-polar thing which applies to non metals only, and does the molecular structures apply to ionic compounds?

In the test when I want to know which compound dissolves into another, I will use polarity right? But doesn't it only apply to nonmetals? What if I had an ionic compound?

Thanks all, I know am missing something but the test is getting closer and I still need a lot of preparation..
