<p>I think I remember reading somewhere that most of the schools have an agreement not to contact any of the applicants within a certain time frame before decisions are made. Does anybody else remember reading that? Or was I dreaming??????</p>

<p>By agreement, the members of the Independent School League generally refrain from initiating contacts with prospective students for a period that, I believe, runs from mid-February until the decision date. Other schools may have such a policy as well, but the ISL members are the only ones that I know have bound themselves to a silent period. These are the ISL schools:</p>
