Yeah my friend will not be getting an email… He has an address in California so he put that one down <_< I have no idea why hahaha so he’s waiting for the mail to come in California and getting someone else to tell him the result.

^Yep, I’m a G-town RD applicant too. Looks like there’s quite some overlap between UofC and G-town applicants.

Anyway, folks 396 minutes and counting.

@oceanangel: Aww,np~And thank you so much!!I hope so;) Yes it is def. gorgeous esp. for international studies which is what I wanna do!=) Now you can a enjoy a less stressing Xmas!
Oh sorry for that friend, but hopefully he’ll know within a week, right?~

Yeah,I just noticed that,srrinath!What’s the hidden similarity?lol

OMG…down to less than 400 minsAh~GOOD LUCK!!!

Someone asked earlier what my GPA was.
It’s 3.65. I think it’s definitely the worst part of my application, especially because GPA counts for so much, even at UChicago. And the worst part is, I don’t think a lot of colleges understand that at my school there is a 20% admissions rate, and the average GPA is a 3.3. There’s only four kids who have a 4.0 out of a class of 103. And there’s about 25 kids who have a cumulative GPA over 3.5. So the colleges see a GPA at 3.65, which looks considerably below average, but is, in fact, above average at a way above average school. AND I also have an upward trend. Oh well… 6 hours to go. I feel like even if I get into Chicago today, it won’t completely make up for how disappointed I am about Gtown.

Here’s my plan. Stay on the computer, staring at the clock until it turns 4. Then check, then go play Borderlands until my eyes bleed. That will take care of any disappointment by getting rejected.

:3

Oh my god I remember feeling like this last year. For me the decisions came actually when I was least expecting them and had mostly forgotten–I checked CC really quickly just for the heck of it and saw a bunch of OH MY GOD DECISIONS ARE UP!!! threads, just after 4 eastern on 12/15. Hopefully it will indeed be 4 eastern on 12/15 (today!!) for you guys, as well.

I hope so!!=)

Good luck to y’all!

Gatita

Good luck everyone!

when Divine Comedy showed up. I know it’s today.

where do you discover your decision of admission?

your decision will be posted in your uchicago account. i’m not sure whether or not they email them out too.

Good luck guys =)

Folks, read this:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-chicago/828821-its-probably-not-today.html

hey guys. i’ve been reading, but haven’t had anything to say up until now. anyways, i thought you should know that decisions are up on the website, but it seems to be acting up… probably too many people checking. anyways, be patient, because they’re out!!!

good luck to everyone who applied!!

Hey guys, just for the gauge:
