Thanks, bow and xo, to fullfill on page 37, you guys 真够哥们儿!
last night, i realized that if i post too much senseless stuff just to bloat the post numbers, the forum moderatore will find out sooner or later and block the post number or take other actions necessary to control post inflation. So today i'll present more content "concerning" us here. page 38 embarks here

First in response to 哥们儿bow's posts regarding human nature, I do think if we humans are out of fundamental moral restrain, we would be just as beasty as possible.
Once i read a history article regarding the genocide happened in china through out the past 3000 years. I was shocking to be told how our population had been decreasing ten fold over and over...... the most atrocious people can just be the very us, if we have no moral contrain.
We are so proud of our Confuciusm tradition, yet our history is full of warfare and always lets the commoner suffer.
search "中国历史上最著名的十四次人口灭杀" under baidu or google, so you may understand what i'm talking. this article is displayed at many sites

i don't have much Confuciusm knowledge cause i left home early. if anyone know some, please tell me and discuss with us here.

In response to 哥们儿xo, adaptation will come to everyone's life. If i go home, my parents will be mad off if i take two showers a day, drinking endless soda, laptopping 12 hrs, washing bed-sheets twice a week.... american life-style certainly can't be imported to china 100% it's too resource consuming. u.s. population consumes 25% of the world's natural resource.

on the other hand, cultural bash is involved too, but i don't know much about the customs in XiAn or the northwest.

right now i'm doing some intern work for "Ode To Peace" International Youth Culture and Art Festival in Washington D.C. It's an annual public non-profit event to promote peace and diversity. This year the event is scheduled on August 13th at Thomas Jefferson Memorial. I'm making some phone calls to foreign embassies in d.c. to invite them to participate the event. this event will feature traditional dance groups from mainland, and local martial arts groups representing 8 countries.

if any of you by any chance passing by d.c. on that "great day" please stop by to. the performance will be held in front of Thomas Jefferson Memorial. It's a place 进一步海阔天空,退一步风平浪静。Please note, this thing is non-profit, non commercial,
This year, "Ode To Peace" will particularly celebrate the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII, and a few performance will commemorate the Tsunami tragedy.

wow, our thread has gained 43 new posts since yesterday. good work ppl!
lol. okay, if we happen to be in dc on that 'great day', we'll be sure to drop by. there's also this international festival in houston. i think it's only open late april each year (right, sweetbee? sorry, this is only my 2nd year in houston...) anyway, if anyone happens to be in houston during this 'great time'...be sure to drop by too.

i'm being forced to learn how to drive this summer. somehow my parents are more nervous than i am when i'm behind the wheel. i went on the highway for the first time yesterday. it was quite a nightmare for my parents...never heard my mom scream before. lol. but yea, we got home okay.

i 三顾茅庐, and finally i got my learner's permit. For me getting liscense is mostly for id use. Carrying a passport around is not very convenient.

i will touch the wheel soon, and save some insurance if i got driver's license early and don't drive.

Speaking of Washington D.C. Its economy scale is much smaller than it is really unique comparing to new york, chicago, san francisco, houston, boston, l.a. philadelphia. As the center of politics, the social life is unique.
there are representatives of big corps, lawyers, lobbysts, congressman, senators clustered here, with money and power fused, they can turn black into white.

btw, i just found a great site, on-line chinese dictionary. over the years in u.s my chinese is getting clumsy. if you are reading chinese on-line and find some word unnoticeable, then paste it to the site
http://www.zdic.net/index.htm

there is free kingsoft online dictionary too, but in terms of chinese to chinese i think the above site is more useful.

i haven't post "funny stuff" for a while
check out this flash music, it's really cute,
http://www.flashring.com/02df54/content/toons/tfunny/noodlesonmyback.shtml?content/toons/tfunny/noodlesonmyback.shtml

I was mistaken about post number ranking earlier. The indian thread had over 6600 posts earlier and thus reached some kind of limit, then forum divided the thread into several different ones. the 960+ post indian thread is just one of them. so, even if we have 1000 posts, virtually indian thread still have much more posts than us. however, i will keeep the 1000 campaign to bring our thread into a higher level

in order to promote chinese product in the future, i'm looking at some chinese brand digital product: mp3 player and digital camera.
It seems the mp3 players of china are still behind western product in terms of technology, that they are still storing mega bytes of music while western products are storing gega bytes. Anyone know more details of mp3 players in china please discuss it here.

the chinese digital camera are occupanying small market share. but there are many comapnies striving to catch up the demanding market. lenovo, 方正,海鸥,凤凰,
hope the chinee digital camera and mp3 players will be available in american market.

i played some counter strike today. hmn, interesting experience.

just saw the game result of China's men's basketball, they lost 66-68 to Lithuania. it seems our bball team has lith fear syndrome. hope history will change

our team is playing Puerto Rico next

i forgot to mention, Yao Ming is not playing. This new team is made up of young players, so they will have a chance to play against other excellent ball players of the world. I think their opponents are relatively young too.

tangsdaily, want to play counter strike with me? and being abused?
