"I 服了 you! "---- 周润发 chow yun fat in 《监狱风云》, "prison on fire"

listening to 蒋大为‘s "dare to ask for direction" 《敢问路在何方》,“where peach blossoms" 《在那桃花盛开的地方》。
蒋大为 has excellent vocals, really high....... impressive...... don't think any young popular artists out there has extraordinary vocal as him...

sigh....... i just remember these tunes over the years oversea.

i'm addicted to bitter melon recently..... don't know exactly why

any1 ever go to wustl's multicultural weekend (every yr at april). they fly you over for free if youre admitted and sign up on time. i went last year and it was pretty fun, got to room with some taiwan ppl for a few days. lots of free food and stuff. pimpin'

I've been there. good time.... i didn't meet enough people though, i was shy

continuing water dump,
i'm reading people's daily oversea version ----人民日报 海外版。good stuff. they know a lot of stuff about america than we do.......
currently central media is talking a lot about ZhengHe Westward voyage..... mainly arguing that zheng did his voyage earlier than columbus and others, and zheng discovered many spots before they do and zheng's sailing team was much stronger........ anyone know more about the background?

haven't shave for a month, i'm gonna do it now

yea, i remember learning about zhenghe very briefly in world history. but it was more about emphasizing the fact that china was open to the west at that time than about zheng's feats. i don't remember the details. but it's certainly believable that zheng's voyage was more advanced and ahead of the time. but of course, here in america, we'll always hear about columbus and his 'great' voyages.

is anyone here involved or know someone else involved in Market America?i'm not promoting any business, i just wondering how are people interested and other experiences

anyone read 'angels and demons'? It's pretty enjoyable, just finished it earlier this summer. the author, dan brown, seems to be quite knowledgeable about religion and science. i don't know much about religion. but some of the scientific information seems a bit...inaccurate. but nevertheless, the plot's very creative, and it's a fun and quick read.
