<p>Hi Jayeez! Welcome to our big family! (not really :) ) Which universities you are applying? No matter what, don't take SAT II Chinese. It's not gonna help, if not hurt you.</p>

<p>When you get there you should still be able to change what tests you take. Check the CB website but I'm sure thats what they have. Your 1st language is Chinese so doing a SATII in Chinese is just a joke for you and colleges won't find it too amusing. If you can- try and take another test</p>
<p>Yeah definitely agree with joodles. I am pretty sure you can switch your subject when you get to the testing place. Take some science subjects. they are easy anyway, and helpful.

<p>but i think you can only change it to a language test w/ listening..not sure though..i would check with collegeboard to be sure. it's a bit late to start preparing for the nov tests...so if you do take the chinese test, just try to take an extra subject test in addition to the number of required ones..then i don't think it'll really hurt you since this way you'll have what they ask for anyways.
so yay! friday night..at last! i'm DEFINITELY sleeping all day tomorrow..and catching up :(

<p>thx everyone! actually I'm taking Maths IC too... and since the HK syllabus is SO different from that of US's, it's almost impossible for me to take other subject tests, like in history, we only study the European and Chinese history from 19th century onwards for the public exam, so we only have a basic knowledge of the history before the 19th century when we studied it in the lower forms, and for science subjects, I've only taken biology in the past 3 years, and the focus is also very different from what we've learnt... =( well, thx anyways!</p>
