I would like to go to law school in the future and I am having a hard time deciding which college will best help to mold me as a candidate for a respected law school. Any suggestions and input is much appreciated Also i would love to know about its environment, classes, academics, and how it feels to be at a school of 3000. I go to a school of 3000 kids so i was wondering does Brandeis feel like high school?

As a current sophomore here, I would highly recommend Brandeis. Probably the best thing about Brandeis is that we have incredible professors who aren’t too proud to work closely with students, and while classes are rigorous, the student body and atmosphere are very cooperative and uncompetitive, which is rare among respected top-tier schools in new england. Most students at Brandeis double-major, and as a pre-law student, you’d probably major in political science, economics, and/or something humanities. These departments are killer at Brandies; I’m a science student, but I can’t help but take one humanities class per semester. Brandeis has an excellent reputation for law school preparation, and I can’t imagine anything would look better to a law school than a double major pre-law degree (with excellent grades of course) from Brandeis, and because our classes, professors, and students are so enjoyable to work with, you’ll have the time of your life earning that degree.

Finally, Brandeis does not feel like high school at all. Classes start later, professors care about what they’re teaching, and students care about learning. Everybody in class with you wants to be where they are, something you’ll notice pretty early on. Please message me if you’d like more insider information about specific classes at brandeis or if you want to know anything else. Good luck!
