Choosing the best science major and college

I'm in between my junior and senior years right now, and I'm having a hard time figuring out what I want to major in. I am interested in majors like chemistry, neuroscience, biochem, or even psychology. I fell in love with chemistry this year after taking AP, but I'm a little apprehensive about doing a chemistry major - mainly because there isn't a lot to do with it without becoming an MD (at least that's what I hear).

Basically, any suggestions on how to narrow down a search for a science major? The only reason I'm so nervous about this is because the science field is so diverse - I want to try to make sure I go to a college where there is a major that'll fulfill my wants.

On the same note, what are some good colleges (smaller in size) in the Northeast with good programs for the majors I listed?

Thanks!

I would have to suggest bio, biochem or chemistry. whoever said you cant do anything in science without an MD probably got it confused with a PhD, if so they were mostly correct as most people dead end at the levels below Doctoral in the sciences. but, that “dead end” can be making 100k a year. but a phd definitely wont hurt your chances at a 6 figure income either. in the end choose what you want to do, worse comes to worse you can always get an MBA.
