Hi! I’m a high school senior and I was accepted to Christopher Newport! Have you attended or know someone else who has attended CNU? I was accepted into PLP, is this a helpful course? Do you feel like it benefited your experience, it is it worth it? I’m really interested in international affairs and sociology, what is the difficulty of the classes? Did/do you like the school? I’m extremely interested in doing a semester or semesters abroad, how are they at CNU? Is there a wide variety of options and/or did people have good experiences with study abroad? Are the people there kind and supportive, or snobby and closed-off? Do you need to (or should you) participate in greek life in order to make friends? I struggle to ask for help sometimes so I was wondering what the professors are like and if they’re supportive? Do they have office hours and if so are they accessible? What is the social life like? Are the clubs fun? Are there on-campus job or internship opportunities? Did you feel safe? Does CNU host job fairs? What are dorms like, do people talk to each other? Final question!
