<p>If three different circles are drawn on a piece of paper, at most how many points can be common to all three?
answer-two</p>

<p>Is there an easy way or rule to do this problem? I had to draw multiple possibilities and still got the answer wrong.fyi the question was taken from college board online course.</p>

<p>if you overlap two different circles you can only have them intersect at 2 points…(as in a venn diagram). draw a 3rd circle that touches those two points and voila…you have 3 circles that touch at 2 points</p>
