<p>I am trying to finish my college essay tonight! And, I have a citation from a magazine. </p>
<p>Is it OK to have the citation? Do I need to include the source? </p>
<p>Any thoughts from experts (who really know the consequence or approach), I would appreciate.</p>

<p>err..i'm not an expert, but from what I've heard/read, it's fine to have citations. It's better to have citations (and the source in parentheses) than none at all, because you do not want to be plagiarizing. I don't see how it would hurt at all; they aren't going to penalize you for being thorough (and non-copyright-breaking). Of course, you don't want to base your essay off only this article; you want to make sure to develop your own views/opinions. Hope this helps</p>
