Hi All,

I'm an undergrad at UT-Austin studying civil engineering and I've just decided that I want to pursue a graduate degree in the fall of 2011. I'm looking into Columbia and I'm wondering if anyone knows how competitive their environmental program is?

I have a 3.53 GPA and 3.6 major GPA, GRE Q690/V420 (I studied for a few days before I took it in December...bad idea. I'm taking it again in 2 wks). I've interned with an environmental agency over the summer, I worked on an water conservation project in Peru for the last year, and I'm currently doing undergraduate research. I've applied to UIUC, Cornell, UT-Austin, and Oregon State. I'm very doubtful that I will get in to the first 2 schools as my GRE scores are nowhere near what I wanted them to be. I've looked into Columbia University, and although it's an ivy league, I'm wondering if anyone knows what they typical student profile for an environmental engineer is. I need to apply to a good school that I can at least get into. Anyone have suggestions?

Thanks.
