civil engineering management

I'm currently a structural engineering student and I'm not sure if I should go into civil or aerospace structures. Well, I'm concerned that there isn't much money in civil engineering outside of construction. I'm not really into construction so I was wondering what the opportunities are in structural engineering firms? How much do the project managers make? I know that civil engineers start out low (well compared to other engineering disciplines) but how is there salary like in 10-20 years? I know that the aerospace industry has a better starting salary but I have no idea how their salary compares in 10-20 years. I feel that the aerospace industry has better oportunities to move up the corporate ladder but the civil engineering industry has better opportunities for starting firms.

I'm pretty sure structural engineers make as much if not more than construction engineers, though I don't really have a solid source to go by. I wouldn't be concerned with salary though; the difference isn't really enough to determine what kind of job you should take. If you're good at what you do, you'll get paid a lot. Simple as that.
