Civil Engineering: Transfer to...?

This is my situation...I want to do Structural Engineering and I'm planning on transferring to a UC from the CCC I currently attend. From what I have researched:

"The education of structural engineers is usually through a civil engineering bachelor's degree, and often a master's degree specializing in structural engineering."

BUT....

Apparently, UCSD offers a Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering? So my question is this:

Do I:

1) Do TAG w/ UCSD for Winter 2010 for Structural Engineering?

OR

2) WAIT until Fall 2010, and apply to another school for Civil? (I was thinking Cal Poly Pomona)

Which option is more beneficial for what I want to do?

you haven’t stated what you wanted to do? if you want to get a masters then just do good in your undergraduate studies regardless of which school you go to

The UCSD course just has a different title. It does not mean you will be taking grad courses if you went to UCSD. If you do well in UCSD, then you can apply for a master in Structural Engineering elsewhere.
