Do aerospace company's and nasa hire civil engineers for their structural sectors? or are they mostly aerospace engineers?

It's not mostly aerospace engineers. I believe most of them are mechanical and electrical engineers.

If civils specialize in structural mechanics, yes, plenty of jobs available in the aerospace industry for that area.

I have a BS in Civil, MS in Civil/Structural. Would it be necessary for me to get a MS in Aerospace for me to be competitive in the long run, say several years down the road?

I’ve also heard that most are mech e or EE, and then Aero E.

I think with a big company like that your going to see a need for civ E’s, mat E, EE, etc. etc. you could confirm this if you look at their job opportunities on their website though
