Civil Rights, Animal Sounds, Dante, Daughter / Grandmother

Hey, what other answers were there to animal tones? I just remembered . . . I think I got "to show the evolution of animal behavior" for one question.

what was the question
i dont remember...

step I don't think the answer was evolution of animal behavior...anyone have input on this?

i think i put a lot of what step put. I also put blocked for the question...not disguise or enveloped. Blocked made more sense to me, for some reason. I took it as they're blocked from our memories because of their anonymity. They don't have permission into our memories because of their anonymity. Disguised and Enveloped, I thought, insinuated that it was intentional. Blocked made me think...we have no way of finding out about them. Their anonymity blocks us from finding out who they are. I also put innuendo on one of the sentence completions.

Did anyone have a ballet passage? What did you put for the one that asked what some word meant and the options were "step", "movement", and "instruction."

yeah blocked just might be right because my friend in school is really good at critical (lol my equivalent in math) and he said it was blocked and pretty much gave the same explanation as does not exist.

but still I think that one question was a bad question on part of collegeboard but yeah what can we do lol.

We should discuss the writing. Did we all have the one with the improving paragraphs about shy guys?

yeah that makes a whole of lot of sense

blocked in anonymity...yeah right

lol ok then I guess its disguise...(I wish it is because that is what I put)

anyway, yeah I had the shy guys thing...rmbr any passages.

by the way...for that shy guy section...for the fixing senterence errors...the one wiht opposed for was wrong right?
it should have been opposed to

yes...and enevloped was right! haha jk we'll never know.

lmao....anyone order q and a service? just wondering...or was it not availbile for this test?

No Question and Answer Service for this test, just lame Student Answer Service.

I ordered the Q&A. I put opposed for was wrong, too.

nice....good job pootietang

yay! i have arrived at my rare version of the test! (i just found these forums a couple hours ago...)

here's some stuff i remember from reading...

the guests at the party were UNCOUTH
the leaders or some people EXCORIATED other people (it is like a tear, or an insult)
compared to the roman buildings, greek architecture was AUSTERE (although i stupidly put contemporary because for some reason and i have no idea why, i couldn't remember if ornate meant very decorative or complete lack of decoration..)

i "remember" very distinctly the "remember" question. it addressed people who have such good memories that they can remember all of their information. then, it contrasted this by saying how others don't need to remember the information because they can "retrieve" it from databases. the answer was RECOVER since if you don't have to remember, you can recover it from a database.

also for one of the tiny passages on fairy tales....jeez i hated this....i put that it demonstrated the real world skills that can be learned, also...
it said that the process of finding one's identity is all of the following EXCEPT and it had like difficult, frightening, productive, enjoying, etc at first i thought it was frightening, but i switched to enjoying because i don't think it actually said it was enjoying in the passage.

for math...
the two math circles with a square in between was 24pi.

for any value of x, f(x) = 4000/(2x^2 + 1) the greatest value of f(x) i put 4000

the function one was the -g(x) one i think...

i really didn't know the one where they rearranged the square with 9 triangles, and i also didn't know the one with sets A,B,C. i just guessed on those two

for writing...

there was this one on some city's new committee...and how it is demonstrating something...i kept re-reading it, and i just new that the demonstrating didn't refer to the right thing. anybody know more about this question?

i don't remember much from writing

it's good to hear from others about this rare version of the test! i took the march test also and had a surfeit of math which killed my math score... this time i thought the math was overall excruciatingly easy despite a couple tricky ones. when i first walked out of the june test, i thought the critical reading was so-so. i'm sure the equating section was probably that one with the statistical studey on people's horrid reading habits (lol! they were mocking us during an SAT! how condescending!!! lol!) so the curve might not help us so much. it will probably be a regular curve, to help us like 10 points.

i CANNOT WAIT for scores june 20th!!!

yo lol wow you rmbred a lot but yeah um of all the things you said...i seem to be forgetting what i put for the fairy tale one but if my memory serves me right...I think that dangerous was the other answer choice and I chose that one, because difficult, frightening, productive, and enjoying were all supported by passage, there was nothing that implied it was hazardous or dangerous. It was definately productive and enjoying though and it was difficult at the same time. I was stuck between frighting and dangerous and dangerous seemed to extreme at teh time. But anyway that's just my version of it...I may be wrong but other than that good job on that rest of CR.

For the math, there were two major threads in which all the questions you asked plus more were discussed...I don't feel like going into those right now...but yeah the ones your mentioned are right.

I HATED THE FAIRY TALES! The one about all of the following except sucked. And btw, I am pootietang. They made me change my name, due to its inappropriateness.

lmao good job.

haha...

let's keep this thread alive again!!

yeah alright let's compile all HARD CR questions still floating in our memory bank...someone start...I'm too lazy
