<p>You'll see that CMC is just one school in a consortium of undergrad institutions, so even though the school is particularly known for certain departments (and beware that GEs will reflect this), there are amazing resources available for students in a wide range of disciplines. History is also very popular at CMC. I don't believe that there is a Communications major available in Claremont, but I'm not positive. Check into it.</p>
<p>And yes, CMC really emphasizes the importance of leadership, and it's known for emphasizing Economics and Government (also Politics, International Relations). This is not to say that other programs aren't available and strong.</p>
