first choice: UC Berkeley
second choice: UCLA

that's all!! XD

:] Welcome to CC SweetSixteen! ^_^

Question! I any 1 cares to answer this , but which school is ur backup?

mine are UCR, UCI and calstate L.A haha

Texas, Howard, Morehouse, Emory, WUSTL, Boston University and Columbia

Even though my dream college changes about every month, they currently are: Yale (although I will never get in), UCLA, UT Austin, Stanford (Which I absolutely love but is just too close to home).

:] SacramentoChick, you never know! :] Hope you get into Yale! ;D I might see you there!

I don't think I'm going to have those safeties or backups. oo; I know crazy right? :] I'm going to go dangerous. Hehehe! "P!

I'm in love with all these selective schools, because I'm your average prestige whore :P. I want to double major in something like European History/Anthropology and Biochemistry.

#1 Princeton- great history/science, location perfect, everything's spectacular including its... PRESTIGE! :)
#2 Yale- i love the atmopsphere there, so.... hary-pottery! but academics are great
#3 Cornell- strong in sciences, weak in arts, location great, but noo financial aid
#4 Berkeley- uber strong in chem, west coast

Gdlk people with the admissions game, although it's basically 2 years away! haha.

In no particular order: Yale University, Wesleyan University (CT), University of Virginia (Echols), University of Rochester, Swarthmore, Princeton, Georgetown, George Washington, American

I hope to major in political science. Right now, my favorite school is Yale. I also like Princeton and Georgetown. If you were at Princeton right now, I would definitely be participating in the Frist Fillibuster protest.

Wow, there seem to be lots of us hopeful Yalies. I thought I would be one of the few. No one in my school seems to even know what the Ivies are, much less aspire to attend one of them.
I told someone in my yearbook class that I really wanted to go to Yale and they told me that it "wouldn't be that hard to get in." I had no idea how to respond to that, so I just said, "I'm sure you're right." Oh well.

Far too many Yalies here, IMHO. ;)

Imho? What does that stand for or mean? o_O;

"In My Humble Opinion"

Oh cool! xD New abbreviations, sweet. :]

1st Choice - Northwestern
2nd- U. Chicago
3rd- Cornell
4th-UALR (local college that likes to give out money)

in no real order:

Emory, University of Miami, UF, Emserson, BU, Northeastern, Havard (just to see), NYU....

Updated list: Yale, Harvard, Emory, Columbia. Desperately needing "match" schools and safeties.

Updated list:

University of Illinois
St. Louis University
Columbia University
Georgia Tech

And the ever important safeties-
University of Iowa
Illinois State

wow there are a lot more sophomores than I thought! I really like a lot of schools, and I don't know my chances at theses ones so far but i like: Brown, Georgetown, Reed, Sarah Lawrence, NYU, Boston College, George Washington, Swarthmore, UChicago, Haverford, and more...I know its a lot but I have almost two more years to figure it all out!

^ plus safeties of course...
