Class of 2009 ... What are you most afraid of?

<p>What do you fear most about coming to cornell and what effect do you think it might have on your decision?</p>

<p>I am afraid of the work (engineering) and making friends, only cuz cornell is such a huggeee school that one could very well end up going from dorm to class to lunch to dorm without saying hi to anyone. (Not that I would do this, * but it is * possible. </p>

<p>I'm from nyc so I've been used to the city life for 15yrs and cornell, though beautiful, cannot compare to the city feeling. So any thoughts? Post your own "fears" of cornell.</p>

<p>havent been to the Cornell Days yet..but I am mainly afraid of the HUGE debt that I will be graduating with! </p>

<p>Overall though, I am afraid of failing. I mean, what if the professor turns out to be some psycho and makes life miserable for everyone? (I am going into engineering too)</p>

<p>But, its all good if we all help each other with the work, right? it'll promote social activity as well-I mean, we humans CANNOT live without communicating to other humans for THAT long...</p>
