Yale, MIT, Dartmouth, Bowdoin, Vassar, Pomona, Brandeis, Lafayette, St. Lawrence, Sarah Lawrence, Franklin and Marshall.

SUNY @ Geneseo

I’m interested in quite a few schools, and I may add or remove a few from the list. I will also likely only apply to 5-6 schools. Possibly up to 7, but no more than that most likely so I will need to trim my list.

Reach/Dream schools:
Columbia University
Cornell University
New York University

Debating over the above 3 as to if I should apply to any ED. I love all 3 equally, and for different reasons!

Other schools I’m applying to that I’d love to go to:
Georgetown University
Emory University
Brown University- Go Bears!
Fordham University

Safety Schools:
University of Central Florida-I will get a full ride in state so it’s a good back up.
University of Miami- Pretty sure I can get 75%-100% because of instate scholarships^^
University of Florida(A bit harder than the 2 above but if I get in I will likely get a full ride because of bright futures+other scholarships_

Good luck class of 2010! :)

~ Theos

Dartmouth
JMU

VCU

Additional:

Tufts
Boston College

I’m a Virginia resident, by the way. I really want to attend college in New England, though. I was born in Brooklyn and traveled back and forth to New England frequently. I just love it there!

My list has undergone minor changes:

University of Chicago (100% reach. Chicago is a nice city and the university is amazing, but I’ll never get in.)

John Hopkins (My parents really want me to try JHU. And why not? My brother got into JHU with a 3.2ish. Plus, they’ve already showered with me money before. I have to show some reciprocity somehow.)

Georgetown (So many opportunities to do so many things and meet so many interesting people. I don’t like DC though, but I can ignore that.)

Rice (Fun, innovative, far away, but not too far away. What’s not to like? And plus, nothing beats winter in Texas.)

Notre Dame (The heritage, the morals, the values, the Fighting Irish, and most important of all, TOUCHDOWN JESUS!)

Emory (ATL is just great. Emory has a wonderful history, and a blend of the new and familiar.)

Vanderbilt (The South is just irresistible. I need to apply to at least one Southern school. And no, Atlanta isn’t in the South.)

USC (Being a Trojan would be great. It’d be the only college where’d I’d be able to use one. The only thing I don’t like about the University of Southern California is that it has Californians in it and that it is in California. Southern to be exact.)

Boston College (It seems like a fit. Decent academics, good atmosphere, and definitely a match. Considering I don’t have any actual safeties in my portfolio…yeah, I need more matches.)

The University of Californias (I don’t like the fact that it is California, is populated by Californians, and yeah, did I mention I’d have to take classes with Californians on a daily basis? Problem is, everyone in my family is a UCB alumni, and if I don’t get into any of my other schools…well…I have to go somewhere…)

tentative…

UPenn
Columbia
GA Tech
UVA
UNC-CH
USC (CA)
Vanderbilt
WashU in St. Louis
UT-Knoxville (safety)
Rice

need to narrow it down a bit haha
