A lot of my friends have been accepted some where. I have to wait till the first week of April to hear from 8 colleges I applied to and UMD March 1st. Any one feeling my pain!!!!!

I am!!!!!...

Me too- waiting for 5 decisions on or around April 1st.

U Del is supposed to inform me by mid-march, but they supposedly got more than 22,000 apps this year... and last year that's around what they got and a few of my friends got their decisions pretty late.

Oh well. 65 days until April 1st... at least by my count, which might be wrong since it's almost midnight and I'm close to falling asleep.

I feel you. Almost everyone I know has an acceptance to at least one college. I'm really happy for them, but I feel like a loser since I have none. I'm counting down the minutes till April. :)

Waiting for 6 decisions around April 1. The tension is building...

Im dying to know where I got in!

I was deferred from my first choice so I have to suffer another 3 and a half months of suspense =[

waiting for 3 decisions around march 31

The waiting process is absolutely killing me. I feel like it may even be worse than filling out all the apps.

I was deferred from my first choice school too, and am awaiting a total of 9 decisions, none of which will arrive before April 1st.
If I get into any of my top 5 schools I'll be pretty happy, although there are really 2 that I'd kill for.

Damn. Over 2 months to go.

Yes, here we don't expect to hear from all 8 until April 1. But won't that be an exciting day! I can see the effect on my S, normally so upbeat. Some of his friends applied ED or are on various rolling admissions systems. A few of them are starting to play, running off to movies while he polished off the Feb 1 deadline apps. Not fun and it's making him grumpy.
But it'll all work out for the best, for everyone.

you read my mind...but it shouldn't take too long until April, right? Right?...

2 months, 2 days, 16 hours, 13 minutes and 13 seconds...2 months, 2 days, 16 hours, 13 minutes and 12 seconds...sigh

I hear from 9 colleges then.

Here's the breakdown fo my D:

4 rolling admissions-heard from the last one in early Nov.
1 invite to apply RD early- (sent in Nov.-decision received in Dec.)
2 RD1 decision due Feb. 1st
2 RD decisions (incuding #1 choice) due by April 1st.

She's on pins and needles this week.

i have gotten into all of my safetish schools....so come april i have 7 decisions

Boston College (deferred EA)
UNC-Chapel Hill (deferred EA)
UVA (top choice by far!)
Vanderbilt
Princeton (i'm not going to get in lol)
Michigan
and Cornell

My april might be very depressing lol

I've gotten into two schools, I am waiting for one Rolling school (should be soon), and then five RD schools in the spring.

I will be a wreck come late-March. :D

uhh waiting for 5 decisions...one of them (USC) can be any day now!

the rest..are towards march!

heard from 2 rolling
will hear from 1 March 1st
the other 9...april geez

although im dying to know where i got in, i kinda like the wait cause u still have hope of getting in at your top chioce, i can really relate w/ the pain of knowing that most everyone has found out from at least one place and while you're still sitting there with no news back till april

April 1st is palm Sunday, so there won't be any mail. Better count down to April 2nd.

^^ the OP meant the first week of april, not technically april 1st

I only applied to RD schools, so I'm waiting for 10 decisions around April 1. I have a hard time staying motivated -- in my mind, I was done with high school the moment I dropped off my apps at the post office. I go to class and (mostly) do my work, but it feels like a complete farce. Worst of all, I need to finish the IB Diploma before I can graduate; I'm not even allowed to sit back, relax, and enjoy senior year, because it's ALL WORK ALL THE TIME. It's frustrating.
