Class of 2012 - Acceptance/Rejection/Waitlisted Thread

hey guys
those of you who got into carnegie mellon n case western n even cornell and RIT...howz da financial aid or are u guys planning to pay yourself???

I am not going to either of those. didn't even apply there. but CMU provides NO AID to intels, you need to show that you can pay first when you apply. cornell is ultra competitive to get aid.. need blind admissions but does not guarantee to meet you need.

Due to its 13,500 undergrad student body, Cornell is usually unable to meet everyone's need. The school, however, does its best to do so.

I was offered fairly generous FA, and will not have to pay that much. I am glad!

Is there neone whos been accepted to wustl? And it seems wustl waitlists everone that applies. neone who was accepted at first go?

since Stanford is not need-blind for intls would not need FA increase my chances? by how much?

By this much:

<---------------------------------------------------------->

^^^lol wow that's a whole third of my computer screen!

hey is there anyone here whos been accepted to wustl??.......i mean they seem to be wiatlisting everyone...

I recently got the official waitlist rejection letter.

hey u got into cornell rite?? is it easier to get into cornell than it is to get into wustl??

Yes, I am leaving tomorrow for Cornell. I am not sure, man. I guess it depends on what college are seeking for from you. In general, even though both schools are ranked closely, Cornell is an Ivy league school which makes it quite a competitive one.

Good luck, Tsenguun!

hey could u let me know my chances for cornell??.........my stats are in what are my chances.......the thread is called "Chances for Columbia, Cornell?????" or if u feel like it ill let u know my stats here........just let me know.....

and btw good luck for cornell man.........thanks
