Class of 2012!!!!! :)

The ED letters aren't mailed until 12/14? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area. I guess I'll be in the last batch to know---the suspense is killing me!!

I know so many of you are sitting on pins and needles and it is very hard. I hope you'll have good news, but, if not, know it's not the end of the world. My oldest Vandy student (now grad) applied EA to a higher ranked school and was deferred. In the spring he dismissed them from his list and was rejected by his #1 choice. However, he embraced Vanderbilt and had 4 wonderful years there and wouldn't change anything in retrospect. D was accepted ED, so I also know the excitement that comes from an early acceptance.
So for those who get the "yes" envelopes, congratulations. For those who don't, lick your wounds and then regroup. It will be okay as long as you are open to new possibilities!
Good luck to you all!
P.S. Don't even bother to call the admissions office until your letter has had a chance to arrive. They won't tell you until at least 4-5 days after the mailing, maybe longer.

I wish Vandy would let us view the decision online...like other CC top colleges.

i agree-- but at the same time i think just seeing the word REJECTED would hurt more than a letter where they would at least bull***** a little and tell me im a great person and such even though i would know it was just crap

soooo nervous cant study for my finals at all... oh well

They are mailing the letters today!

Remember, at Vanderbilt, all ED decision letters come in small envelopes! (I read it on the admission blog)

I'm so nervous/anxious/excited...Best wishes to everyone.

I applied ED as well, for MHS (Medicine, Health, and Society) and Public Policy.

I'm going crazy. Good luck to everyone. :)

monday and still no letter :[

same here i'm so mad/stressed/anxious/sad

i know im not going to get in i can just feel it

I received my acceptance letter just a few hours ago and am very excited for what next year has in store. Best of luck to all those still waiting. Go 'Dores!

edint - Congratulations! Did you receive anything about financial aid (if you applied for it)? Where are you located?

wow edint-congratulations!! youre so lucky you know....was there one piece of paper in your letter or was it thicker??

Just got Accepted. Party time

Accepted! Life is so good right now...

Congratulations to all of you! Did any of you receive a financial aid award at the same time as the letter? Was it in a separate envelope?

Yeah the financial aid letter was enclosed in the same envelope as the
admissions decision.

All of the letters are thin. However, the first thing I noticed was a green business reply envelope for the initial deposit. I did not initially apply for financial aid but I will later. I'm located right outside of Atlanta, GA.

omg im dying! i also applied early decision but i still haven't heard nething yet (I live in NY). Edint44548... where do you live? and congrats! :-)

oh sry i just saw that you live in Atlanta. lol. where is everyone else from? ahhh i want my letter sooooo badly! congrats to everyone who get in!

Hope everyone else get their letter today. If you applied for financial aid, the envelope is kind of thick (mine was).

Its tues and i still didn't get my letter :-( apparently none of the northeast got it so anyone from this region... dont worry. Wen... when u got the acceptance did the financial aid envelope have a package similar to what you asked for?
