want2badore, where are you from? I'm from Providence, I haven't received any of my mail yet today (maybe in a few hours). But on facebook, a few northeastern people have received letters.. someone from Boston, some people from NY, etc. I'm assuming I'll get it today or tomorrow. :

Sorry, I see that you wrote NY above.

The letter finally made it to the San Francisco Bay Area. Accepted! Yes, I am going to Vanderbilt/Nashville--the single best college/college town in the country!!!

i just got off the phone w/ vandy admissions.. to all people in the northeast.. they said that it is taking unusually long to get to our houses :(. im assuming they have gotten a high number of calls for this reason. so for all those who live in the northeast area, you are not alone.

We live in Central New York and my daughter received her acceptance today!!

Has anybody received anything other than happy news?

Just got letter in San Diego. Accepted!!!!

No letter today. ughhh.

Is anyone going to post stats for us lowly RD people??? What if I say please???

Yeah, I agree with rodney. I'm applying RD and I would like to see some stats please

Accepted! Near Philly =]

I'm in Connecticut and I don't have my letter. Would it be too big of an assumption to think that it'll get here tomorrow? Mailed on Friday...5 business days seems ridiculous to begin with.

Just got my letter, im in san diego, GO DORES!! Accepted.

The stats are in the sub forum (vanderbilt 2012). Congrats to those who are accepted :)

I just got denied, pretty mad right now... What credentials did you guys have who just got acceptance letters? I was above all the average GPA and test scores from my high school for accepted people in the past few years, good extracurriculars, good essay. i don't understand why I got rejected! Please help me out

oh and is there anybody else that got denied? i feel pretty lonely right now on this forum haha. if so, where else are you going to apply?

My friend who also applied EDI was also rejected. Her rejection letter actually says that her test scores were too low (she's going to Belmont now).

thats weird mine didn't say anything. is she goin to belmont just b/c it's in nashville?

i was rejected..i'm pretty disappointed too canderson..

@canderson: Yeah. She's not planning to go out of state.

thx. pakabo, where else are u applying? this is ridiculous, i can't believe how competitive it's gotten. When i visited last spring, the kids i was with at vandy were like, if i applied now there is no way i would get in. i didn't believe them, but it's probably true
