Class of 2013 Engineering Hopeful.. Post Accepted Stats?

<p>there's a lot more to your app than scores though. make sure you spend just as much time on your essays as you do on tests.</p>

<p>i'm officially doing ED (to Upenn engineering), any suggestions/things to know from people who have been through this stressful process?</p>

<p>6'2'', .346 Batting Avg 6-8th grade, 6:08 fastest mile, Yards after Catch: 23.5, Assist/Turnover 3.1, QB Rat: 112.6, Avg Fantasy Draft Pick: 4, Fastest Slapshot 124mph, 15 Yellow Cards, Recently Signed a 5 yr 105M contract with 25M up front.</p>

<p>Im actually in the class of 2012 BE ftw!</p>

<p>I dug up my old stats, and I really think what made my application stand out was the fact that Penn offered a small major that almost no other schools offer for undergraduate. I could have made my primary essay reflect on my personality more, but it ended up not mattering.</p>

<p>General Comments/Congratulations/etc: Congrats to all who got in! It's my first choice school so I'm satisfied.</p>

<p>Advice would be to stand out in your clubs and take a strong leadership role and to make your application essay paint a vivid picture of your personality - the page 213 essay option is a good choice. SEAS looks more at raw scores than the other schools at Penn, so keep GPA, courseload, and standardized scores high.</p>
