i think we all are very familiar with the financial downfall US is facing ryt!
its just so happens that a very good fren of mine got an email frm his EA college stating that the scholarship scheme had changed.. the merit aid no longer cumulates for tht particular college.. so what??
well....he had to withdraw his application because a college tht used to cost around 7k with a generous aid now costs 13k with the maximum aid..
it definitely wont affect the top notch high profyl EDs..</p>

record shows that ED acceptance are rare...</p>

<p>I was just having a look at other older threads in CC and i found sth. Skunk(who I believe is a senior from SXC accepted by amherst last yr) seems to have started a thread "how to write my recommendation?". So does that mean all sxc people write their own recos and just get it signed from their teachers??? Wow...thats very unfair isnt it..considering that the rest of us dont even get to see our reco, let alone read it or write it on our own!!</p>
