best of luck to you all :)

thankss you too! :)

OK, so here's a question for all you prospective '13ers. I just got an email from my regional Bryn Mawr admissions counselor saying something about how she really enjoyed my approach to the "Why Bryn Mawr?" supplemental essay.

What does this mean?

Should I email her back?

Thanks!

thats awesome!!!! it's probably a good sign.
i would probably email her back

awww, lucky! good luck! :)

Wow, congrats! :)

Everyone that got a note like that last year on CC got in (including me). I think I might have written a quick note back, but I don't think it's important either way. It might be something like a likelly letter...

Note that a ton of other people that didn't get the cute emails still got in- so don't worry if you didn't get one.

did anyone else get the email that LaMariposaAzul got?

I got one that asked me to elaborate on a few points of my application and after that a personalized in the loop...... it was real sweet......hope taz a good sign!! :)

Yeah, mine was just a mention of how she enjoyed reading my essay or something. No personalized In the Loop, though.

So we start checking the online account on the 21st or so, right?

on the other thread, someone says they called the adm office, who said they will post decisions on the 26th.

lol i'm totally stalking this forum.

aww, i wish i cud get something like that...nope, I just got a personalized email about my financial aid application being incomplete. lmao

^^ LOL.....I got tht frm holyoke..... Guess Bryn Mawr's on the way.....(I made a complete mess out of my FAz) ;)

@superwoman

Yeah I got that too! The virtual Bryn Mawr says I am only missing the Student Tax Return 2008, but I don't have a job (I'm a dependent). My parents' Tax Return arrived the day they sent they email, so it could all be taken care of. Anyway, we emailed them just in case.

I was really hoping we would find out on the 20th. D: If they posted the decisions on the 20th, that would actually be the end of next week. I guess the 26th is okay though...at least we don't have to wait until March 31/April 1.

I've got everything taken care of but, of all things, my Mid-Year Report. I DEFINITELY sent it in; anyone else having this problem?

^That happened to me, but it turned out my school neglected to send in my mid-year report (they ended up sending it a month after I requested it to be sent)...

Did Bryn Mawr send you an email saying they still needed it or does it say on your virtual bryn mawr that the college still doesn't have it? Either way, I suggest emailing them in case your mid year report was misplaced.

hehe. yea, my other schools too. but the midyear Bryn Mawr did tell me they didnt get it yet. It turned out that my school didnt send it out so I had to have it faxed over...wow, I felt like an ideot. Me neither so I filed the non-taxer form. Make sure you fill that one out or else your other IDOC requirements wont be accepted.

BM only e-mailed me about sending in tax returns; nothing about the Mid-Year. Hmmmm.

@superwoman: I sent in my non-taxer form recently, so now virtual Bryn Mawr says they have everything.

@squaregirl: If they didn't send in anything about the mid-year, maybe they don't need it...? I think they would email you if they really needed your mid-year report...
The situation does sound odd though. :/

I e-mailed them, and the woman told me my application was already in committee and that I needed to send my Mid-Year ASAP. :O I'm sending it over, pronto. GLAD I E-MAILED. Holy crap, that could've been bad. :(
