Class of 2014, what does your senior schedule look like?

@1Rachel94

Please, I started getting senioritis the 1st month of freshman year.

I’m taking all dual-enrollment classes at Cleveland State but I won’t know specifically what they are for a while. Presumably all the actual students will take the classes I want to take and I’ll have to take a bunch of really random classes.

Haha I will laugh at everyone in my grade at my school taking calculus next year. I was advanced and took it as a junior and it was tough. But I have seen them all freak out over precalculus, so I can only imagine them in calculus. My friend heard me complaining about ap calculus ab this year so she is only taking honors next year. It wasn’t that bad or anything… but I only signed up for it because of my guidance counselor so I wasn’t as passionate about it as I should’ve been… so I can only imagine these kids.

But as for what I am taking:
AP Statistics
AP Physics B
Honors Introduction to Biotechnology
Honors Psychology
Honors Democracy and Media Literacy
Honors Cultural Revolutions (haha the least awful English course I could find since they literally tripled me up this year, eliminating all the ones I had ANY interest in)
Then my nice senior “joke” electives. Except I am actually interested in these, and it’s my last chance to take them:
Improv Theatre
TV Production
Family and Social Health
Peer Mentoring
and PE (required all 4 years!!)… my friends convinced me to sign up for dance xD… I’m hoping it falls through and I get yoga.

Chances are, I won’t get anything xD…
Or at least not my easy electives which are actually the ones I am most interested in …

AP Biology
AP English Literature and Composition
Honors Physics
Calc II (1 semester, dual enrollment so kind of like BC)
Statistics
Religion 12 (catholic school)
U.S. Government
Spanish IV

AP Lit
AP Calc AB
AP Stats
Physics-H
Recent US History
Psychology- Community College
Sociology- Community College
Marketing
Study Hall

AP Calc BC
AP Physics C
AP Bio
AP English Lit
AP Spanish
SRT IV- 2 credits (capstone research project- researching how to stop neurotoxins from killing people in local army research lab)
Biotechnology (semester)
Genetics (semester)

Now that it’s pretty much final:
AP BC Calc
AP Physics C
AP Stat
AP/IB French 6 HL
IB English 2 HL
IB History 2 HL
Theatre 1

^i truly doubt that. You might not have liked school starting freshman year, but trust me, it’ll be worse next year. I have 11 absences in my calc class lol. As long as I don’t get below a c I don’t even care. It’s bad. I really don’t recommend overdoing it like some of you are planning on.

Religious Studies (about a third of my week, just BTW- don’t underestimate)
AP Psych
AP Poli Sci
AP English (if I decide to self study- I might just steal my friend’s notes and make up the material on my own)
Dual enrollment Precalc (Yes, I know. PLEASE don’t say anything. And THIS is what I’m doing instead of AP English.)
Dual enrollment Jewish History
Dual enrollment Hebrew language
Journalism/Modern Fiction (by half year)
Dual enrollment HTML Programming

Now, here’s the bit I haven’t figured out yet:
Either
Dual enrollment Creative Writing
Piano 1 (I already play the flute, so until we get to chords this is gonna be a snoozefest)
or
Introduction to Engineering
or
Advanced Computer Graphics

(This last slot, unless I’m unlucky enough to be stuck with engineering, is going to be my senioritis slot.)

AP Computer Science A
AP Calculus BC
AP Physics B
AP Chemistry
AP English Literature & Composition
AP Macroeconomics
AP Microeconomics
Driver’s Ed & Traffic Safety
Research/Writing Center/Study Hall

Y’all have some interesting classes. Bowling/yoga?

And I’m guessing the 6+ classes means you guys have block schedules?
AP Chemistry
AP Statistics
AP English
AP Gov/Econ
ASB
________?

What should my sixth be?
Possible choices are AP Spanish Lit, AP Music Theory, AP Bio, or AP Humanities (my school’s Academic Decathlon team).

I posted this on the general Class of 2014 page, but I’m looking for more suggestions. :P

What’s your intended major?

Its only fourth quarter of Junior Year and I’m already burning out… oh dear. I went HAM in 11th grade, and I doubt I can keep up the pace next year. Eeep… four AP classes, no me gusta.

Toughest my school allows:

AP Calculus AB
