anyone applying to bowdoin, come talk to me!

I might be applying to Bowdoin, @collegebound752. What do you have to say about it?

@vniatge Look, I know from your other posts that you are a freshman, but that is just a ridiculous list. UChicago is a high match for almost no one unless you have a gold medal at IMO or have some national award. Plus, you don’t even know what you will accomplish over the next 7 semesters, nor do you know exactly how well you will do. I’m not trying to be harsh, but just know that 5 different Ivy leagues along with 3 other insane reaches is not a realistic list to have. Though I would advise a freshman to just not worry about college yet, if you are so interested, try finding safeties where you know tuition will be affordable, and try to find a unique passion that you can explore through extracurriculars. Start prepping early for testing just so that it is one thing you don’t have to worry about. Testing usually doesn’t get you in but it is something that let’s them focus more on your extracurriculars.

@DiscipulusBonus‌, I’ll be a freshman there next year. It’s heaven on earth. If you have any questions, let me know.

@collegebound752 Lately I’ve been thinking about possibly applying to Bowdoin, but I’m not sold yet. Convince me?

@collegebound752 I never really thought about Bowdoin, I just saw it as another college, but now that I looked it up, it looks really interesting. It might make my list.

@collegebound752 Never mind, it doesn’t have a Physics major.
