Class of 2016 Chances

If more people applying to Bing are as excited to attend as you guys, then Bing has only to win!
I gotta admit that Bing is not my top choice, but definitely is in my top 3. The OOS tuition, variety of majors, and size are perfect for me.

@andybatts I’m from Suffolk! :)

@crfcaio Bing is definitely my first choice right now and I truly just want this so bad. :)

Same here! West Babylon to be exact!

@andy oh awesome! I’m from Bay Shore! :)

Haha I’m from Buffalo…aka the third poorest and second most miserable city in the country. I cannot wait to get to Binghamton. It’s not my first choice school- it’s my only choice school.

What do Long Islanders think of Buffalonians? Haha are there any stereotypes or anything?

^I’m not familiar with NY nor anything…
How bad are things over where you live?

Well most of the people in the suburbs are pretty nice, but there’s a huge crime problem in the inner city. And thank God I go to private school; our public school system here is a joke. Ever since the Erie Canal closed, Buffalo (which was once a boom town and manufacturing center) completely died. There aren’t any jobs and the economy is on life support.

Similarly, I don’t know anything about LI or downstate. I’ve been to NYC twice but that’s about it.

Well, I for one don’t hate on them and I haven’t heard any of my friends diss them. I think it’s because you guys are like 9+ hours away.

So we don’t really know much about you guys

I never heard anything bad at all about Buffalo. Us Jet fans just don’t like the Bills =)

Hello! I’m applying to Bing EA :).

Josh, I’m from NYC (Borderline LI) and nobody here really talks much about upstate. Like hunter said, you’re just too far away lol.

I’m totally applying EA I just can’t wait that long for an acceptance/rejection

I think we can all agree we’re pretty pumped up.

^^ truer words have never been spoken

Well at least it’s faster than regular decision haha.

hahaha so true

In my opinion EA shows you’re more interested.

Yeah I talked to admissions officers at a college fair, and they said EA is a definite sign you’re a student who shows initiative. And even if you get deferred to regular admission, your application is flagged so everyone knows it was originally EA. So it can only help. Last year decisions came around Christmas time. I’m so excited haha.

In 2016, five years from now, after we’re all best friends at Bing we’re gonna be like, hey remember when we met on CC? Haha good times.

@andy totally!
