Hey guys, I would bet if any ED applicants asked to be released from their binding decision because of this controversy, CMC would immediately oblige. The last thing the school would want is to force anyone to go there against their will.

One of the most important criteria for getting accepted to the school is that you can explain why you would be a good fit for the school and that you really want to spend the next four years of your life at CMC. If this is no longer true, I am sure the school will accommodate you

I applied ED2,too and it’s closing to notification date…CMC is my dream school and obviously I am getting nervous. I am an international applicant and When I received president’s email from CMC, I do not really understand what is going on until I saw news and comments posted here. I think this scandal might harm a lot to the reputation of school, but the eduaction quality, wonderful faculties and students, etc will not be affected at all. We cannot judge one large group just according to one person or few people’s irresponsible behaviors, right? If I am lucky enough to be admitted by CMC, I will definitely choose it!
