Added my D. All with merit except Humboldt, though I hear they only look at FA once a deposit is made.

S accepted at MassArt, RIT, Syracuse, Univ of the Arts, Temple U/Tyler School of Art, VCUArts

We’ve rolled over to another discussion page so I’ll post the link again where you can post acceptances and final choices: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ZxUwgbCqcCpq4L_2L4lAhqcKQAN0AyGHDAjf1rDX9rI/edit

A few more and the doc will be 12 pages long!

Updated the google doc to add Occidental and Whitman.

Finally have all the replies. S rejected by Caltech, wait listed by U Chicago, Reed, Bowdoin and Hamilton, accepted by Bates, Oberlin, WPI, and TCNJ(the last two with scholarships).

D
- accepted: Reed, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC San Diego, NYU, Boston University, Smith
- waitlisted: Wellesley
- denied: UCLA, Brown

I updated the doc to show my son’s choice of Tulane, not Occidental. He is all about Tulane these days! After yesterday’s LA earthquake, can’t say I disagree.

D
-accepted Tufts S of Engineering, Bucknell S of Engineering, Lafayette, WPI, Smith(attending)

Moonmaid, the LA earthquake was nothing. We’ve had two over 5.0 in the past couple of weeks and not so much as a picture has fallen off the walls. I believe there was some news today about some condemned buildings way down in Fullerton, but all’s well in LA! We keep clogging up our freeways as usual.

D 4-1-1
Accepted:
- Loyola Chicago
- Elon
- Villanova
- Lehigh

Waitlisted

Redirected (Denied)

It appears that Lehigh or Villanova will be the final choice based on final visits and FA packages.

Hi AvonHSDad - LOVE the post! We gave our S the option - a grad party or would he rather go on a trip - he chose the trip! He is from a large class of 635 so his thoughts are he will go to all the other parties and still get a trip out of the deal. Looking forward to some of the other items on your list though; this is our only child and it is truly EXCITING times all around! Best wishes to you and your child as they venture off to the college world!
