Why you think you were accepted/deferred/rejected:
Where else were you accepted/deferred/rejected:

General Comments:
Congrats to other accepted students and good luck to those deferred or rejected.

I got into Hopkins ED as well. I was wondering if anyone knows what are the chances of transferring into BME. If the chances aren’t great, I was thinking about doing chemical and biomolecular engineering. Does anyone know the difference between those two majors?

I have 2 friends who applied to Hopkins ED for BME and got accepted to the school but not the program. One chose to come and the other chose to try for BME elsewhere. While both are happy now, I know for a fact that the one who didn’t come to Hopkins tried to transfer in later on and didn’t get in. You never know how your major and career path will change. Choose the school/place you think is right for you and you will thrive.

So I got rejected on the my decision portal but John’s hopkins just sent me an email saying "embrace the yes, welcome to the class of 2019"and other information as if I was accepted… Did this happen to anyone else!!! So confused

@nehc97
Yeah same thing happened to me

@nehc97 I’m guessing this is just a really terrible joke…

Happened to me, what a way to mess up…

I just want to know if people didn’t receive the email.

lol I can’t wait to see their apology email… “We’re so sorry, but we regret to inform you, again, that you have in fact not been accepted to Johns Hopkins university”

I got the same email too

did anyone NOT get the email?

Apparently rejecting us once wasn’t enough, gotta rub salt in the wound.

Just when I thought that I had gotten over this too.

Too soon Hopkins… Too soon

Is there any chance that it was decision portal that got messed up? lol

Doubtful, but that’s why I want to know if there were people who didn’t get the email.

I got it too. Anyone call the office of admissions?

I did, but the office was closed.

i got the email as well. probably just a mess up. Pretty fucked up thing to do
