hi guys! I got into Howard, and I want to major in Nutrition with an emphasis in Pre-Med, but i dont know how i would fit in, and the safety of Howard and its surrounding areas. I’m from California, and I’m a bit hesitant to move across the country for a school that I don’t know too much about. Does anyone know about the safety of the school and about the quality of teachers there? any info would greatly help with my decision 
hey! from what I’ve heard about HU and the surrounding area is that if you use common sense everything should be fine. Don’t walk alone don’t be too flashy etc. The surrounding community is in an urban area but a quick metro ride will bring you anywhere you want to to. I visited this month and I loved it!!! I could see myself at no other institution, don’t let the area deter you from going to HU…hopefully I see you in the fall!!!
What is up with the lack of communication? Come on step into the modern era, at this point room assignments, schedules, move in orientation date should be known,I know this isn’t Ohio State, but hey those other scholarship offers are still in contact with me with a plan and I’m starting to think why am I going through leaving their money on the table when it looks like I’m getting nothing bur grief with this decision.
