Hey guys! I got my my aid award package in the mail today (I was accepted on 11/9)! I found it odd because I never got an update on my portal about any merit scholarships and there still isn’t a place where I can find it there! I ended up getting the Trustee scholarship ($17,000 per year) which was a big shock to me honestly! Good luck to everyone!

Her decision will be a financial one. Seton Hall and Quinnipiac offered $28,000 a year (but more expensive than UDel). She just applied a couple of weeks ago, it looks like there is a wait to hear about financial packages? Good luck to everyone!
There is a scholarship calculator on the Net Price Calculator for UD. It is pretty reliable. Was spot on for my UD2020.
@sparcky yes, the net price calculators are great. The problem for us though is that our HS is on a 100 scale. We have no way to know how a given school will convert that to a 4.0 scale. I’ve seen GPA/25 or GPA/20-1, neither one of which can work in all cases. I even broke down her transcript on a class by class basis to recalculate it on a 4.0 basis.
Delaware has a $4K drop at just below what I think the lowest possible that her GPA could be recalculated at, but you never know. She still needs to get accepted, so have to get past that first anyhow.

Your son should have a UD application portal. I don’t look at my son’s, that’s for him, but that’s where you go to get updates. Mine got online notice in Friday and big envelope today.
Question! I applied November 20th, Got the email 12/6 that my application was under review does anyone know when I will hear back?
They received my application on 10/11, and I got the email that my application was under review on 12/4… when can I expect to hear?!
Application submitted on 10/28, email stating application was complete and under review received on 11/14, acceptance to nursing program posted to portal on Friday 12/7. Hope this is helpful

@sfruhling I think you have a good change of hearing Friday. D rec’d email stating app is under review on 11/30 and received news on 12/7.
S19’s merit showed up this morning in the portal - he received the $17,000 Trustee’s scholarship.

So this is going to sound stupid, but when you get the email saying everything is complete, does your status still reflect the Application Submitted date or does it say under review? Does anything on the portal change? Just emailed admissions and they say it’s currently under the first review, but no computer generated email has arrived saying application complete…Application was submitted 11/4 and everything was received from the High School 11/6. Thanks.
@splaks - everything stayed the same on S19’s portal before/after email. He received the email saying under review about a month give or take after app was complete. Others may have experienced differently. He received acceptance less than a week after he received the “under review” email.
@Splaks I submitted everything on 10/31 and just received the “application complete” email last Wednesday. Haven’t gotten a decision yet, hoping for this Friday. I would think you should get the “complete” email next week.
