Hi! @Momof3intheOC Congrats!!! Did he find out via email yesterday? Do you mind me asking what time the email came or did he get the letter in the mail? My daughter and I are checking both constantly My son is BU22 and I cannot remember being this nervous for him, but he didn’t do single choice either.
Nevermind! I see he got the email!
…Still curious what time of day the emails are sent out.
He received the email at approximately 11:00 a.m. (PST). A friend of his received her email at the same time. He submitted his application 8/17 ED. Good luck to all of you currently waiting.
We got my son switched to early action since he had everything done. That was a few days ago, and today he has a Baylor ID slot! Looking for an email soon.
My DD got her acceptance today! I don’t think an email has gone out yet, but I checked her GoBaylor account and is shows a billboard in front of McLane with her name and “You’re accepted!” The GoBaylor account also lists her aid package so far.
Same for my son, he was admitted today. We had also just recently switched him to early action since he had his application complete. However he is Music Performance major so the acceptance doesn’t really matter since he still has auditions in February.
Hello all, been lurking here for a while now. My first post is good news, my son was just accepted today. President’s Gold scholarship! I hope we also get something for National Merit if he is successful in becoming a finalist.
Congrats on all of the new admits! My son said several people at his school received news on their admission also. We just got his application completed 10/29 so I have to reassure him it’s too soon to get a decision. But, just curious - for those who were admitted, when was your application completed? We will be on pins and needles waiting… : )
@Sarah1973 - I think it’s still really early! My son is freaking out too because of people hearing about getting admitted today. But tomorrow is the deadline for early action/early decision so I wouldn’t be too concerned. Last week I spoke to someone in the Financial Aid office and she told me that they were hoping to make decisions on the early action/early decision candidates by end of November. Not a promise - they technically have until January 15. So, hang tight!
