Its not as many as you would think… The Baymore freshman class will probably have around 3600 kids and they will probably accept close to 15,000 to get those 3,600… Good luck!
Yes National Intent day is 5/1… but for purposes of housing choices and what not you should decide by late february… Unless you are a musician or other skill, in which case they usually have auditions (for placement and additional Scholarships) in mid February…
My son was accepted to Baylor. It doesn’t say anything about the business school. Is that later? Since he listed business school in his application is he accepted automatically into the business school?
@dallastexas123 - my son also got accepted for Fall 2019 and is a business major. If they want to be in the business school and indicated that on their application then they are listed as “pre-business” for the first 2 years. After those 2 years, if they maintain a 3.0 GPA, they can pick their major and are officially accepted to the business school. There is not a separate acceptance to the business school as an incoming freshman. Does that make sense? Let me know if you have any other questions. And congrats!!
Have any EA applicants that applied close to the Nov 1st deadline received decisions? Quite a few people that applied around that time from my school have received decisions, so I am starting to worry.
my son did not do EA. He just applied and was accepted. He had 3.9 GPA with a number of AP courses. he had what I considered not a great ACT at 25. graduating from a Christian private school which may have helped.
@kdeeop Under EA Baylor has until January 15 to notify you of their admission decision; from what I’ve read on this site, they admit in waves so I’d save the worrying for now. Good luck!
