I just had a few questions:
- Are the classes more lecture or discussion based?
- How much are projects incorporated in classes?
- Are classes taught by a professor of by a TA?
Might differ by major so you might want to include. First year will be allot of lecture in science classes taught by professors in auditorium setting. TA’s more for labs.
What about for a Chem major
Looking at the curriculum, Chemistry majors will take the same first year as most engineers, so Chemistry will be large lecture classes. That was an advantage for my son in physics, the have a physics majors only class. Your calculus will be smaller and GEP even smaller. Second year will be similar as you take Organic. I’m guessing third year is where the classes will be smaller and more interactive. Your interaction and discussion will occur when you find a study group.
