Classes for senior year

I’m scheduling my classes for senior year and want opinions/help on my schedule.

AP Calc - 1 lab period/week
AP Stat - 1 lab period/week
AP Comp sci
Honors physics - 1 lab period/week
AP Bio - 2 lab period/week
AP Lit
gym
study hall

I am planning to go into biomed engineering, maybe premed or comp sci. However, my current schedule has an issue with the lab periods conflicting with each other(a lab period is a dual period for that day and you stay in class rather than go to gym, study hall or lunch). I may need to drop down to honors stats or honors calc with no lab period, take out ap comp sci or stat for a study hall, or drop out of a science. I go to a normal 8 period a day high school with 45 minute periods. Also, I am a very competitive cross country and track runner being on varsity since my Freshman year. I’m naturally good at math, like biology and reading. How hard will this schedule be?

Seems a bit STEM-heavy to me…no history or social science? Had you not already taken bio and physics? Two maths, two lab sciences and Comp Sci sounds a bit over the top…

You’re right. My school only offers a few ap classes and has a lot prereqs to each one. The next option for history after APUSH is AP Gov(only other ap social science) or honors classes like world affairs. I would of tried taking economics but my school doesn’t offer it. I took chem this year and missed out on ap physics since honors physics is a pre req. I might take out stat and put in French 4 which seems pretty good. I want to set up my schedule so I’m not in classes that bore me with busy work like French or history but will beneficent my future. I already know java and c++. I will be trying to teach myself calc ab over the summer to get a head start.

If math comes naturally, Stats may be a bit boring. I would feel free to possibly drop that to honors and self-study for AP or even just switch it out with another class.

Can you add in a non-stem AP class and replace study hall with that?

Check recommendations on college websites to see how many requirements they recommend. Some will want four social studies or foreign language, others don’t. I would confirm you have all areas covered and if not, adjust accordingly.
