classes

Are there any classes you're planning on taking next year but you're really not looking forward to? I'm fearing ap calc ab, ap physics, ap chemistry (my school decided to offer both physics C classes as one, for 2 periods). I like my other 3 AP's however :) At least I'm done with boring electives. I'm so excited to be a senior next year! woo woo class of 06'

for anyone who knows how I'm not the greatest at math (but not terrible either) For this 3rd quarter, my 2 pre-calc test grades have been a 94 and a 91 :):) I have a 96 avg. with the homework. So I'm regaining my lost confidence in math :) For my test I just got back, the 91, the test average was a 77 (usually it's an 85 or so), and for the 94, the test average was an 83. :)

I'm not really looking forward to chem @ the cc b/c it's at night....

Not looking forward to Chem 35 (i.e IB Chem HL). A WHOLE semester of advanced organic chemistry, and due to my luck, I'll probably end up with the scarriest teacher in the school. Joy. Rapture. AAAAAHHH.

hehe chem appears to be the big winner (or is it loser?) :p

AP econ i think. haha i'm so not looking forward to AP chem, that i'm not signing up for it.

I'm really scared, and one of my friends whose taking it this year is warning me if I care about my gpa I won't take it, but I don't care, I love chemistry

I love IB Chem HL. It's hard, but I really like it. I'm actually pulling off a 97.3 in the class. :)

But then again, I don't have a scary teacher..:)

My school only offers IB Chemistry SL :(

Celeb--I'm also taking those three APs next year--but how can you take three other APs? I'm taking AP Eng 12 in addition for another class, I'm being a teacher's assistant. I meant how do you have space in your schedule?
Yeah, I heard the same about GPAs crashing if I take those classes. I'm horrible at math myself. :P Will see.

Don't worry about AB Calc. I'm not a math genius by any stretch of the imagination and I'm doing really well in it.

i'm only taking ap's next year- 6 in all

lol, our school doesn't offer enough ap's for me to do senior year. but that's probably b/c i'm not a math/science person. i think the difficulty of calc ab depends on the teacher. the tests and quizzes my teacher and writes usually garner a class average of an F. he curves, so it all depends how you do relative to everyone else in your class for me.

i'm not really a math person, but i'm good at science-y math. I'm just not good at pure math so much. Which is why math is the least of my worries for physics and chem.

Oh wow. I feel so stupid compared to the rest of you, heh...seeing all your APs and whatnot, I'm only taking a few cause my school offers most APs in oh look, my worst subject everrr Science.

I got a B in Biology last year, and I have a high B in Chemistry right now, pushing my ass to make it an A. I have to, geeeez, I know I can, the annoying thing is its just tedious and I miss the little things that all add up

Anyways, PHYSICS has got me COMPLETELY freaked for next year. Next year is my Junior year, annnnd I'm terrified of that class. Ooooh mama I'm shakin.

I'm not looking forward to AP Calc. The sooner highschool is over, the better.

I decided to put physics off to my senior year (i'm a junior now) because I knew I wasn't a solid enough math student to succeed. So I'm glad I put it off a year and now I feel confident enough to take it

Celebrian, that was MY plan too.

Was.

But then, last Thursday, at effing parent teacher conferences, which actually I usually like, my Chemistry teacher told my dad there would be no reason that I shouldn't move on to Physics, and that it looks great for college and all...I bet it would look great for Vassar, but my dad shot down my dream of goin there :( annnnyways...So I'm stuck with Physics for next year cause I'd rather not fight him on it, plus I guess I can get it outta the wayyyy...meh.

sorry about your luck! If I was a math prodigy like everyone else on this site, I would have taken it, and I would encourage you to do the same if you're mathy, but it just wasn't the right timing in my math career to take it

HAHAH Mathy is the exact opposite adjective for my learning skills.

I'm an English/Literature junkie hardcore.

Oh well. I'll do what I can. :)

I'm taking AP Biology next year...Why? I have no clue...It will probably virtually be suicide...I'm also taking AP Langage & Comp., AP U.S. History II, and AP Spanish V, classes which shouldn't be too bad...But I don't know why I want to subject myself to AP Biology, but I'm going to anyway...
