Classics/Latin and Psych @ BMC & HC

I’m a rising Junior, but I’ve begun to look into colleges this summer… Bryn Mawr has sparked my interest in every possible vein with the exception of it being an all-women’s school. While dating is not an absolute necessity for me by any means, I don’t want to feel “trapped” in a place where I have to go out of my way to even attempt to meet any guys.

From what I’ve read, interaction w/ guys is completely possible if you take advantage of the Bi-Co & Tri-Co, but I’m still a little hesitant. So, I decided to ask a slightly more specific question… how are the relations between BMC & HC students in the Classics/Latin and Psych programs? Wherever I go to school, I’m planning on a double major in those two areas. I’m not too familiar with the strength of the Psych program at either school, but it seems that the Classics program is very strong at Bryn Mawr. If anyone has majored in either of these areas or has taken classes related to these majors, are there many HC guys enrolled in the classes? If so, are they… approachable, or do they fit the HC stereotype of being awkward and intelligent (I’m not opposed to the intelligent part at all by the way… just the awkward.)? I just don’t want to find myself striving for interaction with males that you can actually talk to and interact with. Thanks in advance :)
