Thanks for the input. Being from so far away it is hard to get a real feel for any of the schools. What are your thoughts on College of Charleston vs. Carolina? The obvious is location and size - but what else? I am afraid that no football team at Charleston will be a disappointment.

College of Charleston and Carolina are two completely different schools so it depends what you are looking for. If you want a large research university, it would be South Carolina. If you want a liberal arts school with potential for smaller classes, then it would be College of Charleston. I should also note that College of Charleston is about 2/3 female haha (if that’s a factor)

Just submitted both apps a few minutes ago! Btw, ***** beat the tigers yesterday, if that means anything hahaha

grrr *gamecocks hopefully that isn’t censored

if it means anything, you’re going to a school where the mascot is censored hahaha

good win for South Carolina. We haven’t showed up ready to play in the last 3 years

Hahaha yea. I do have a clemson question. How hard is it to fly into clemson for someone who lives fairly far away? (west coast) Does the town of clemson have an airport or do most people just take a shuttle to a different city?

There’s an airport in between Greenville and Spartanburg (GSP - Greenville-Spartanburg Airport) that a lot of people fly into. (about 45 minutes away) The city of Clemson does not have an airport. A lot of people live in the Greenville area so it’s not hard at all to find a ride to the airport and if you can’t find a ride, there is a shuttle service available for $30/each way. I think the shuttle goes to Charlotte and Atlanta too but it costs a lot more. (if you’re lucky, there are a bunch of people who live in NC and GA too so you could find a ride with them? Usually not as much luck as finding a ride to Greenville).

The shuttle services are:
Airport Shuttle of Clemson 800-669-6463
Anderson-Clemson Shuttle Services 888-732-5550
Larry Andrews Airport Services 864-653-5677.

Alright, thanks for the info, I appreciate it! I’m planning on checking out both schools sometime during Spring Break, and I’m sure they’ll both have amazing things to offer :)

Looking for some feedback on Clemson? Would you be able to answer few questions?

sure @dndolores , what questions do you have?
