I have a snow day today, which means time to do anything, including checking out the list of random clubs at Olin. Don't want to think about homework, college decisions, etc? Check it out: CORe: Club Listing

Mission: To foster and promote the learning and performing of fire activities at Olin as well as the safety practices they entail. This includes but is not limited to poi, staff, fire-breathing, and all variations thereof.

I thought about making a list of the clubs I was interested in but I really should forbid myself from visiting the Olin website until I'm actually accepted...

Geez... that's like 5 times as many clubs as my high school has... and my high school has 4 times as many people as Olin. Do you really have a lot of time to do all of that with the workload?

Hey dudes, it's great to see people interested in olin's clubs. I'm a current junior at Olin, and I'd love to answer some specific questions about clubs if you have them, or point you to a more appropriate person. :)

what about sports? i'm not super athletic and definitely wouldn't qualify for any athletically competitive college's teams, but i know a lot of small more academically-concentrated schools have sports teams that compete more for fun than to win, and was wondering if olin was like that too

Plus lots of students take part in Babson club sports. I know that especially a lot of students play Rugby. I have also known of Olin students to practice with (but not compete due to some annoying regulations) Babson JV/Varsity sports teams including track or cross country and softball.

Yes! At Olin College, you can learn the fine arts of juggling, unicycling, fire poi, flying trapeze and aerial silks. Engineering also included.

I also like the fact that our political groups are ROC, PPR and SCSR
