There are a lot of generic clubs at our school like key club, interact, and NHS. So i was wondering if being an officer for a generic club look better or being an officer (Like VP) for a unique and different club that I'm more passionate about look better on college apps? I've heard a lot of ppl say that NHS doesn't really matter because its so generic so is being unique better?

Hey. Be nice. Yeah, NHS is sort of bleah. Just go with what you like and are passionate about. Screw worrying about college applications and stuff. Once they see you're really into something, they'll be more interested and are more likely to accept you. I hope.

well said naturefreak (are you a naturefreak, ecofriend type of person?)
anyways, follow what you like. that will eventually led you to a very good self image, good app, and a very good essay.!
