<p>Hey guys, another chance me thread. I really would love to go to cmu, and its my top choice as of right now. I know its going to be a reach, but It would be awesome if anyone has some insight. </p>
<p>Unweighted gpa: 3.47 including freshman year(i hear they recalculate without freshman year?? if so 3.59)
Gpa will most likely go up quite a bit with senior year.
Senior Year Schedule:
AP US Gov - A
AP Calc (school only offers AB) - A
AP Comp Sci - A+
AP English Lang - B
AP Physics B - A+
those are the grades as of now.. MASSIVE upward trend beginning junior year</p>
<p>SAT I: 2000( 640 CR, 710 M, 650 WR) - not sending
ACT: 32(32 E, 36 M, 31 R, 30 Science) - sending this</p>
<p>SAT II: Math II: 800 Physics: 700(had to teach myself half the topics)</p>
<p>EC's 4 years varsity swimming
Math league, history club, computer science club</p>
<p>Outside of school: Winner of origami by children competition for OrigamiUSA, from 2007-2011(multiple winners)
Volunteer for local Habitat for Humanity, approx 100 hours by the time I apply
Worked as an intern for an accounting firm, becoming familiar with accounting basics, as well as learning quickbooks, and observing tax return process
Taught origami classes at 2 different libraries, and have had work exhibited by the library multiple times.</p>
