Rejected 3.87 unweighted 4.2 weighted 5 AP’s
waitlisted. better than rejection, i guess, after being rejected from NU and BU over the last day.
Priority waitlisted?
Are some people automatically in priority waitlist? And some have to opt in?
Is everyone offered priority waitlist?
everyone can choose between priority and regular waitlist.
Yeah so basically it’s just an option
Is Priority Waitlist like another ED agreement? They make it sound like we are special to be offered a place?
yep exactly
That’s right. We are on the same boat, not a good boat though
No, it’s not binding. Everyone got offered the option.
Anyone got to Economics major?
Accepted for engineering (MSE). I was super excited until I opened the FA letter. Why is my yearly cost 10k higher than my parent’s annual income! CMU came in more than double the price of any other school. Is this a mistake, or one of those things where they give you a number you have to refuse instead of a rejection.
How many if you got waitlisted for SCS
I’m in the same situation. My child accepted to MSE and they expect me to pay almost my annual income. I would expect Andrew Carnegie to be more generous with this middle class worker. Luckily we’re in Texas and UT Austin is a good deal for instate students.
If I get in from the waiting list will I get my first (and only) choice major?
If we can get the fat letter today?
My daughter was accepted to Tepper!! So exciting. Will visit next week and walk around to try to get a vibe.
