rejected
3/4 decision yesterday were waitlist. So no hopes for cmu
Accepted for CS — not really sure how this happened. Congrats to everyone! I didn’t receive any FA so it is unlikely I will attend - hopefully opens up another spot for someone!
Are the decisions for Qatar coming out at a different time?
Waitlisted
DS rejected from Deitrich. 1490 SAT, 4.93 weighted GPA, 13 AP classes.
Can u share stats?
Was everyone who waitlisted get into the priority waitlist?
I was told specifically that I’m in the priority waitlist
Oh yeah i just read, its binding if you get into it. You have to be the deposit as soon as you are accepted from the wl
so I’m slightly confused…it’s like the ED of waitlists right?
and not everyone who gets waitlisted is in it right?
Does anyone know where the merit scholarship information is on the portal? Is it supposed to be in your admissions letter or does it come when we receive our financial aid offer?
I’m very confused. It would need to be contractually binding for it to be like ED. Is it?
it says if you are accepted, you gotta pay within 72 hours.
Which is no problem…CMU is the dream
I can pay in one minute if they want me too
you get the choice of sending the deposit when accepted or getting moved to regular waitlist, doesn’t seem like its absolutely binding
Finally… my son got accepted after 2 hard to take waitlist. He is physics/pre-med.
Also, I don’t understand the date. It says they’ll let people on the priority waiting list know by May 10th, so they can know before college decisions that are due a week and a half earlier?
For people who got priority waiting list, did it say that if you opt in, you will be among the first people admitted to cmu from it? I want to know if they only said that to some people or everyone.
