CMU moves up in the 2007 THES rankings

<p>Carnegie Mellon University has moved up to # 7 in the world (# 5 in North America) in the latest Times Higher Education Supplement (THES) ranking of top world universities in the area of [technology <a href="i.e%20engineering%20and%20IT">/url</a>. </p>

Carnegie Mellon also appears in the THES subject rankings for social sciences as # 28 in the world and # 18 in North America (#15 in the US alone).</p>
