<p>My main concern is the amount of aid and that the waitlist is not need-blind… I have an agreeable full-ride offer to a lower-tier school, but I’m definitely willing to pay a bit if it means I can attend CMU…</p>

<p>Whoops, I meant CIT. CTS was a typo. I requested to have my name on the Tepper, SCS, and CIT waiting lists and the person who just called me said there are no open spots in any if the 3 schools. Off I go to Penn State!</p>

<p>Just got the call and was moved to the regular waitlist for Tepper… the guy said that they took 6 kids off the PWL for Tepper…</p>
<p>@cneogy, “better qualified,” like the college admissions process, is somewhat subjective… But don’t let it get to you. I was rejected/waitlisted to places that others at my school got into, and a number of those people call me much smarter than they are… #Asian… Just last week, my appeal to UC Berkeley was denied while another student’s was accepted, and another student put his deposit in at CMU CIT…</p>
<p>Remember that if you’ll most likely be happy shortly after you start your studies at wherever you go and that you can always try to transfer.</p>
