CMU (Tepper) or UVA (McIntire) Advice?

I've read some other threads about this, but I wanted more opinions!

I really wanted to get into Wharton... but that was a negative, and I was crushed. But I guess there's grad school.

I heard Tepper has a small class size but McIntire is ranked pretty high. I want to either go into finance or something with designing/selling cars or technology. I was an idiot and didn't apply to CMU's engineering .... Anyone know if I can still take some classes there or transfer?
But anyways, im still unsure what I want to do major in specifically.

I would appreciate any advice at all.
Thanks so much!

I don’t even think there is comparision here.

If you want to go into business, UVA will serve you well…

^^ agreed, see my post UVA vs. X

McIntire classes happen to be smaller, too. The entire incoming class at McIntire is usually around 300 students. So, while you’ll be part of an overall class of 3,300 or so at UVa, the size of McIntire is small.

You may be interested in the partnership between UVa and Rolls Royce. It’s not auto design, but it’s a pretty nice name with which to be associated!
